It was Gian Lorenzo Bernini and his historic rival, Francesco Borromini, who invented the Rome that fascinates us so much today. In fact, it is thanks to their genius and passion that it is possible to admire a vibrant Rome which boasts some of the highest expressions of Baroque art and architecture. The human vicissitudes of these two artists, their indisputable masterpieces, and the bitter rivalry between them, will be recounted in a tour which will visit the most representative sites of the two main protagonists of the early 17th century.
